Stephanie Booth is one of the most successful independent hotel operators in the UK, with currently eight hotels in the Llangollen Hotels Group. These have been extensively covered in the highly successful BBC TV series 'Hotel Stephanie,' of which filming for series 3 is currently underway. Stephanie has also embarked on the development of a chain of children's play-barns branded the Fantastic Fun House, with two currently operational and a third, which will be one of the biggest of its kind, due for opening in January 2011. Linked to this is one of her newest developments, Dee Valley Events. The company 'saved' the Llangollen Balloon Festival in 2010 with its highly acclaimed 'Great Llangollen Show' at the Llangollen Pavilion and has plans for further major events throughout next year. But this business drive is also helping other businesses within Llangollen and Wrexham. Stephanie 'Chairs' both the Llangollen Chamber of Trade and Tourism as well as its counterpart in Wrexham and by stimulating the tourism market to both destinations she is responsible for seeing an increase in the local economy of both towns. Stephanie is a self confessed 'workaholic,' whose drive to succeed is evident in everything that she takes on. When she does have some spare time however, she enjoys nothing more than relaxing on her North Wales farm with her husband David and its collection of rescue animals.
