International Women's Day Wales...

Many exciting events are being organized across Wales to celebrate International Women's Day 2010.   Parties, lectures, live music, poetry readings, spoken word events and much more will be taking place to celebrate this important day.

The theme for this year is
Equal rights, equal opportunities: Progress for all.
The emphasis is on celebrating women's achievements and raising awareness of areas in which gender equality still hasn't been realised. We want it to be as inclusive as possible and everyone is welcome to join in.
